KBO Korean Series Game 1 postponed again due to stadium conditions...will resume on the 23rd

Heavy rains have postponed Game 1 of the Korean Series, the first suspended game in baseball's postseason history.

The Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) announced that Game 1 of the Korean Series between the Kia Tigers and Samsung Lions, scheduled to resume at Kia Champions Field in Gwangju at 4 p.m. today, has been canceled due to ground conditions.

Due to the heavy rainfall from yesterday to this morning, it was determined that it would take more than three hours to maintain the grounds for a normal game, making it difficult to hold the game at 4pm.

In addition, with rain forecast by the Korea Meteorological Administration from this afternoon, we decided to postpone the second leg.

Game 1 will be held at Champions Field in Gwangju tomorrow 파워볼사이트 (23rd) starting at 4 p.m. The game will resume where it left off in the top of the sixth inning with runners on first and second with no outs. If the game is tied at the end of the ninth inning, it will go into extra innings.

Game 2 will start one hour after the end of Game 1. However, if Game 1 ends before 5:30pm, Game 2 will start at 6:30pm.

KBS Korea will broadcast Game 2 of the Korean Series tomorrow afternoon on TV 2.
